The journey to in which we are going through our hopes and visions, each day creating a new chapter and looking forward to seeing something more that is undisclosed. Every structure signifies metaphorically the letter H for hope, and the window on the structure signifies a window of opportunity driving endlessly forward. Some ornaments of this sculpture will reflect the beauty of the nature and light the way it beam throw in our memory and our every day life today. These sculptures are all about nature wonder where our mind explores like biomedical science reading through pulse and looking through eyes and discover. HOPE - Abu Jafar

(Viewed 1001 times - 0 comments)
Sculpture with 27 structures will be made with steel and bronze, 26 of which will represent the last 26 Olympic venues. The main structure will comprise three dynamic plates which represent each time the Olympics has been held in London. Each plate will be linked with a strait line, which is the representation of our goals, our achievements, and the anticipation of our future steps. This line will be ornamented with the name of 544 British Olympic Gold medal winners. Each plate will be 20.12 m tall, which is the representation of the year 2012. This will be the main body of the sculpture. The other 26 structures (each structure will be 2 m tall, 80cm wide, 26cm deep) will be placed in the ground like an abstract flying bird, in a way that allows public to go through and wander around each structure in order to enjoy the historical link between past and present. While they walk, there will be background music played by an automatic sensor system. This music will be collected from all over the Yorkshire region. There will be an opportunity in all the structures for school and community groups to make some pattern to represent themselves as an ornamental object that will be carefully redesigned so as to be incorporated into the sculpture.

Every structure will signify metaphorically the letter H for hope, and the window on the structure will signify a window of opportunity and beyond. The sculpture is about our journey - how we go through our hopes and visions, each day creating a new chapter and looking forward to seeing more. It is a journey that reflects our past and future through our ambitions and reflects what best we could do to harmonies ourselves.

It is a hope and ambition that drives us every day to create and enjoy the moment and leave our legacy for the future. Since1896 there have been 26 Olympic games and each one creates a legacy for the next. It simplifies our vision, involves others in the creative process and celebrates togetherness in art, in sport and in beauty.

Hope is the sculpture of a journey that celebrates the creative process and honours others in visual arts. It is a window of HOPE, where the sun's ray will come and go, rain will fall, cloud will brush through and our hopes will continue to smile on us.
