This claims to be the largest mirror ball in the world and is sited on Blackpool promenade as part of the Great Promenade Show. It was created by the artist Michael Trainor. Blackpool is known as the "ballroom capital of Britain". This rotating mirror ball is 6m in diameter, covered in almost 47,000 mirrors. The artwork is named after the 1969 film about a ballroom marathon.

This amazing glass arch is at the waterside in Newcastle. It is in a small wooded sculpture park near the Baltic Arts Centre in Newcastle (very close to one of the road bridges). The arch is made up of this beautiful greeny blue frosted glass and the base is made from shiny reflective stainless steel.
