I'm nige. Photographer and aesthete, with a love of capturing things at street level, be they people, art, or otherwise.
Public art, in my opinion, is the most relevant form of art we have in the UK at the moment. It captures the zeitgeist, and does so without containing itelf in the walls of high-brow galleries, choosing instead to confront us whilst we are moving from A to B, when something else is occupying our minds & our time. We are busy people, working longer hours than we ever have. Time is fleeting, and with so little of it left to spend with our families and friends, what time have we for art?
So, this is why i am interested in that which will make me stop - even if for just a moment - and think, or provoke a reaction in me. Sculpture | Grafitti | Architecture | Installation | Performance. These are my areas of interest, and i hope to convey that interest with this moblog.

Fantastically well captured. Such a beatific expression. Any idea who/what/why?
pretty amazing huh? not sure of the artist, but i'm on a mission to find out.
Androgyne sure, reminds me of how angels are often portrayed - genitalia-less.
considering what is represents the idea is great, and it really is executed very well. the expression on the faces brings such joy.
