Information Monkey

As an Information Monkey myself, I love this. Can you tell us any more about it? What building is it in front of? Why is it an Information Monkey (can see it's playing with letters ...)

The monkey is on an information sign outside Timpson's (I think) shop in the High Street in Dundee, just about 100 mtr east of Desperate Dan sculpture. It is re-arranging 'Information' to read 'In ma fair toon'

Genius. I love it. Makes me realise how long it is since I was in Dundee, though ...

Dundee now has quite a lot of public art, all to do with the Tayside Regeneration Scheme, and it is a very much better place to visit nowadays.
My wife, Angela was fortunate enough to be commissioned as one of the artists to supply some of the artwork.

I can see why - she's very talented. And witty.

Aah, 15 years in Information, the anagrams are a bit old ... You need to sculpt a monkey and use some form of Scots for it to be cool in my eyes. ;)
