Good questions. Kodak didn't burn. Kodak stopped making film, paper, and developing chemicals. It stopped developing photos. It destroyed all its industrial buildings, and this is the end of buildings in Rochester, NY. It is the end of film photography. The end of the darkroom.
why does Toronto care? Well, every May the whole city is about photography. http://www.contactphoto.com/
more photos than i can see. I think it must be one of the world's biggest photo events. I have seen some great things.
