The Leaning Woman

This typical example of 1950s British sculpture is known locally as ‘the dancing lady’. It's hidden away by the subway that links the two halves of Black Lion Road either side of the busy A4. There's a strange and unintentional light effect going on here – could have had something to do with the very nice and still fairly traditional Black Lion pub nearer the river!
