The long awaited playground boundary was put out to open tender and Cod Steaks won the commission to design and build the 120m fencing with integrated artworks. 'Breaking In' features unique animal characters who are there for the enjoyment of the children and visitors to the park - pulling holes through the fence to join in with the play. The choice of animals were as a result of community consultation with two local primary schools - St Mary's and Walkley - through model making workshops held at both schools...
