Remains of one of the statues left on the old perimeter wall of the otherwise glass and iron Crystal Palace, built for the Great Exhibition at Hyde Park in 1851. After the exhibition the whole thing was moved to Sydenham Park where it burned down in 1936. Now, all that remains is a scattering of low brick walls, overgrown columns and spectral statues
