Installed in 1790, the fountain in the Place de Comedie is surmounted by Antoine's sculpture of the three graces of classical mythology (although you can only see two of 'em here!): Aglaea represents Beauty, Thalia is Good Cheer and Euphrosyne is Mirth. There's a whole eco-system of birds and insects living around and within the mossy fountain in the centre of Montpellier's fashionable, busy main square. A nice place to sit in the sun and drink a cold beer!
